Pray This Simple Bible Verse for Your Kids

Watch the short video or read the transcript below. Watch more videos on prayer.

Here’s a good Bible verse to pray for your kids.

Luke 2:52 talks about the development of a young Jesus during His earthly life, and we see four petitions we can pray for our kids:

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”‭‭‬‬‬‬

1. Pray for your kids to increase in wisdom, Intellectual growth and a fear of the Lord that is the beginning of wisdom.

2. Pray for an increase in physical stature and strength. We want our kids to be healthy and fully functioning in their callings.

3. Pray for favor with God. We want God to smile upon our children and show them grace. What is more important than favor with God?

4. Pray for favor with man. Following Christ will bring trouble, but we want our kids to have favor with man to live quiet, productive, and peaceful lives that bless others. So pray for it.

There you have it: one simple verse to pray for your kids.
