Someone recently criticized me for having ads on my website and I thought I’d take the time to share why I have ads. My hosting and web maintenance fees have gone up dramatically this past year ($30 per month, and sometimes $30 – $90 extra to fix bugs). All of the content on this site is free for the world because I believe in the message. With the ads, I can have web expenses covered and maybe even make a few dollars on the side (can anyone say, ‘Book fund’? 🙂 ). I believe the words of Scripture that a worker is due his wages (1 Timothy 5:18). My goal is and will ALWAYS be to serve you great content and let God provide my expenses as He sees fit. I see ads as a simple solution for just that. I’ve thought about starting a Patreon or something similar, but have chosen not to do it because I raise support for my ministry already and I didn’t want to feel like I was constantly asking people for money! I hope that clears things up. Please send me an email if you have any thoughts—I value you and your input! Now, on to the links.
Nacho Libre Leads Muslims to Christ. I never thought I’d see a story like this—but why shouldn’t we when we have a Sovereign God who is after His lost sheep?
