The purpose of my writing and speaking is to encourage, equip, and empower you to live a Bible-saturated, gospel-centered, Christ-exalting life. I’m no expert at this—just a pilgrim on a journey to the celestial city trying to please his Lord.
I am a graduate of Taylor University (BA) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv) and now serve as Project Manager for Open the Bible for Leaders, a free online training platform for Christian leaders. I live near Chicago, Illinois, with my wife and daughter.
I’ve been featured on The Gospel Coalition (in English and Spanish), WordPartners, For the Church, Banner of Truth, ChurchLeaders.com, Christianity.com, Open the Bible, The Gospel Project blog, Themelios, and several other places.
My prayer for blog readers is the same as Paul’s for the Philippians:
“And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:9-11
Soli Deo Gloria.

Yes, I like your site. So much info about youself and your faith in Christ. Good to know you, Ken!
I hope people tell you all the time how much they learn from your site. I appreciate it very much and am really just realizing how many things I have studied as a result of your posts. It started with a search for learning greek and thats how i found you. I am slowly working through the books "for and against calvinism" can you help me cut a corner and do a blog reconciling 2 Peter 3:9 and Romans 9 or does that really require writing two books?
thanks for the encouragement, Kevin. I also would like to know that answer myself (and I have one of those books)! I'll see what I can do, but chances are it won't be too soon ;)
