A Daily Prayer for Our Post-Truth Age

Amy K. Hall’s Daily Prayer for Our Cultural Moment is worth sharing and incorporating into your own prayer life:

Father, move my heart to desire truth.
Sharpen my eyes to see truth.
Mold my mind to think truth.
Embolden my mouth to speak truth.
Strengthen my hands to serve truth.
Grant me love to adorn truth.

A related biblical prayer for our times is Philippians 1:9–11:

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
