Anti-Abortion Sign: The Best Pro-Life Sign I Have Ever Seen

Anti-Abortion Sign | Planned Parenthood Clinic | Pro-Life Adoption

People have many strategies in fighting the terrible practice of abortion.

Some picket abortion clinics, some make effective Pro-Life Movies, and some choose to show images damaged and bloody aborted babies for shock value.

While you may agree or disagree with any of the tactics mentioned above, the guy below protesting at a Planned Parenthood clinic may get the prize for the approach that is the most loving, practical, and non-offensive way to protest at an abortion clinic.

His sign says, “I know 20 Families that are Ready to Adopt Your Baby Today. We are here to help you!”

No doubt he has gone through effort with an adoption agency to obtain a list of twenty families ready to adopt.

I love this sign for several reasons:

  1. It is loving. The tone of the sign seeks to save lives and show women another option (adoption), an option that Planned Parenthood won’t mention because it doesn’t give them what they are interested in: money.
  2. It is not offensive. Pregnant women considering abortion are usually going through a very difficult time in their lives emotionally. Some approaches like telling them they are going to hell might work for some, but might make the whole experience worse for others. This way is not offensive.
  3. It is not controversial like many other anti-abortion signs. Pro-life signs showing bloody fetuses, whether you think they are right or wrong, can offend some people. This sign avoids offending anybody with the truth and shows a viable alternative.
  4. I think it could seriously make women second guess their decision to abort. This point is pretty self explanatory and shows just how practical the sign is. I think it could work!

What do you think?

As a pro-lifer, I always found signs like this to be very problematic. For one, the sign’s claim is dubious. If they know 20 families that will adopt the baby, why haven’t they adopted one of the 104 thousand children waiting to be adopted already (and that’s just in America)? Moreover, even if the kid isn’t adopted, I’m sure it will be happier having been born than being killed. Lastly, I’ve always felt that signs like this reinforce the notion that if only women had more support and resources, they wouldn’t abort. That is, the problem isn’t women killing their children, but rather the problem is that society is not supporting these pregnant women. Do people not realize that pregnant mothers in modern-day America probably have it better than any other time in history?

73% of women abort because they “can not afford a baby right now.” “Better” is relative. The US offers NO paid maternity leave! Most other countries do. Maybe if the $13,000 adoption tax credit were granted more women would keep their babies.

However, the fact is abortion has been practiced the world over, since the beginning of recorded history. Abortion isnt going anywhere.

I think you’re reading too far into the sign. A lot of women walking into abortion clinics are in tremendous pain, and this is a way to hopefully cause them to change their minds. This sign will obviously not solve all of the problems in a person or in society.

Their in pain over being pregnant. Nice censoring my comments, misogynistic asshole.

Adoption is not a pregnancy alternative.

It is not loving to suggest a woman give away her baby away as if it is an old handbag. There is nothing more UNnatural than newborn adoption. Somewhere around 100% of women who give their babies up for adoption live with extreme long pain, regret and emotional trauma. Most women who abort report “relief” As it was the pregnancy that caused them so much stress. Newborn adoption in this country is NOT about finding homes for orphans. It’s about spreading dangerous lies about abortion, convincing vulnerable women that the solution to her “problem” isnt abortion, but adoption, eliminating the unwanted mother in the process-the young, poor, single, non-Christian woman who “spread her legs” and now has to “pay the consequences.” IE: suffer for a lifetime because she enjoyed and consented to sex.

To suggest adoption is CRUEL. http://adoptionvoicesmagazine.com/sounds-in-the-silence/coercion-in-adoption-counseling/

All 20 are too ageist and too racist to adopt from foster care.
