Top Links for February 2021

I’m trying out a new section of Top Links that share recommendations. Let me know what you think!

  • Article: Cardio for the Man Who Hates Cardio: The Benefits of Rucking. I’ve done this for about a year and love it. Rucking is walking with a weighted backpack. I fill my backpack with 35 lbs. of sandbags to make our family walks a better workout for me. It not only builds strength, it burns more calories than just walking.
  • TV Show: How the States Got their Shapes. An engaging show that lives up to its name. (I’m not sure if it is streaming anywhere for free, but I use my library’s app to watch it.)
  • TV Show: The Most Dangerous Ways to School (Prime Video and YouTube). This documentary series follows kids from all over the world on their dangerous ways to school. My two-year-old daughter enjoys this too since she sees kids and animals! Watch the trailer.
