Hey friends! This is the last edition of the year and I hope it’s a blessing to you.

Isaiah 50:10 has encouraged me of late. If you’ve ever felt like you’re in the dark, this verse will keep you anchored:

    and has no light
trust in the name of the Lord
    and rely on his God.

Bible Reading Plan Resources: Apple users might enjoy this app called ReadingPlan that gives you digital access to Bible reading plan and helps you track progress. I enjoyed hearing why Tim Challies uses and recommends a five-day reading plan. Crossway has some great new free podcasts that follow various reading plans. If you’re still not inspired, check out this longer list of reading plans.

Westminster Books has all ESV Bibles at 50% off until the end of the year.

Covenant Eyes is offering a free 30-day trial of their powerful filtering and accountability software, use the previous link or the code “ANCHORED” at checkout. Five Lust Languages? Years ago, the late David Powlison wrote a thoughtful and careful review of Gary Chapman’s The Five Love Languages. Every Christian would benefit from reading this short excerpt of Powlison’s review.

What I’m reading: The Last Battle (Narnia book #7) by C.S. Lewis, The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer. I just finished Remaking the World: How 1776 Created the Post-Christian West by Andrew Wilson and loved it.

A question for you (simply reply to this email):
