Anchored in Christ

2016 has been a year many people are glad to bring to an end. In spite of troubling things happening in the world (as Jesus promised there would be), we do know amazing things are happening as well. Christ is building His church (Matthew 16:18), people are getting saved, and God continues to reconcile repentant sinners to Himself.

As you may know, I serve with Leadership Resources, a missions organization that trains pastors in Christ-centered expository preaching in over 30 countries worldwide.

God is using our biblical training to equip pastors and leaders to faithfully minister God’s life-giving Word to their congregations and communities. Through our training, we have strengthened many for the task of preaching, have seen many repent of preaching heresies, and helped many pastors and churches grow in their love for God’s Word.

Since we know the Scriptures are sufficient for saving our souls, training us in godliness, and preparing God’s people for ministry (2 Timothy 3:15–17), there is no greater need the global church has than to have Scripture faithfully proclaimed from the pulpit.

How you can help

Like many missionary positions, my role on the Latin America team and in LRI’s Communications and Marketing requires me to raise the majority of my salary. God has provided many faithful supporters, but like many in the nonprofit world this time of year, I need more support to meet funding goals for the year.
