Why I am now Christian by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. A former Muslim and now former atheist who turned to Christ. In this article, she shares why, with insight into many of the challenges Western civilization is facing. Here’s one quote:

“We can’t withstand China, Russia and Iran if we can’t explain to our populations why it matters that we do. We can’t fight woke ideology if we can’t defend the civilisation that it is determined to destroy. And we can’t counter Islamism with purely secular tools. To win the hearts and minds of Muslims here in the West, we have to offer them something more than videos on TikTok.” (And that something is Jesus Christ.)

How to Read and Retain Research Material In Less Than Half Your Usual Time. While the title may be an over-sell, Thelma Fayle shares a tip that can speed up your retention: listening to an audiobook while simultaneously reading the physical book. I’m now eager to try! I suppose the same benefit could be had if you listen to your Kindle edition while following along on the screen. (Although I admit there’s nothing like a paper copy!).

The Life and Ministry of Missionary Robert Jermain Thomas. I first came across this story as I watched the Torchlighters episode with my daughter. A man whose life and service to the Korean people echoes the words of Jesus in John 12:24:  “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”

We may be seeing the beginning of the end of trans madness by Carl Trueman. It’s good news that momentum is slowing, and yet many lives are still being affected (or destroyed) by this ideology. Let’s pray.
