Crowdsourcing question: There’s a lot of garbage entertainment I don’t want my kids watching. What are some TV shows/movies that you want Christian kids to see? They can be faith-based or not. I’ll share a high-quality one our family has enjoyed of late: The Wingfeather Saga from Angel Studios, based on the books by Christian artist Andrew Peterson. If you like exciting adventures like Narnia, you’ll love this. And it’s free to watch.

My appearance on the Bumper Sticker Faith podcast talking about When Prayer Is a Struggle. Listen on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify.

Into the Light Documentary – A free teaching documentary on freedom from pornography that walks through the process of change from bondage in sin to freedom in Christ. Featuring Jeremy Pierre, Jenny Solomon, Heath Lambert, Deepak Reju, Ellen Dykas, Garrett Kell. Pastors, this may be the type of resource to include in your church’s newsletter!

Revival at Asbury: A Cold Take by Tim Challies. A lot has been said about the Asbury Revival. I appreciate Tim’s scattered thoughts here.

The Lost Art of Handing Out Gospel Tracts by Katherine Pittman. Something I’ll add—a gospel tract helps start a conversation with those we give them to. As Ray Comfort asks when he hands them out, “Did you get one of these?” People instinctively want to know what it is.

Ten Questions That Will Shape 2050: How We Can Steward the Great Commission in the Decades Ahead. Some interesting reflections by Matthew Niermann.

Learning Hebrew and the Jewish Background of the New Testament: Recommendations and Resources by Chad Bird. This link isn’t for everybody, but it’s a nice starter-kit of resources for those interested.

How Not to Be Scared of AI – a short and helpful interview between Sarah Eekhoff Zylstra and Joel Jacob on… a big part of humanity’s future.

“Theologically, we understand we’re imputing our sinful nature to the machine.”

A great new worship song to put on repeat: King of Glory by Canvas House Worship. (En español también.)
